I'm no music major, and I never claim to sing-- I'm slightly below average at most things because hey, there's always room for improvement.
But over the years here, I've jammed out with friends from my dirty freshman-year dorm in New North, to singing in solitude in my lonely apartment sophmore year, to singing at our preference ceremony at Alpha Gamma Delta. There's something about music that creates catharsis (thanks freshman year theatre class!) especially when you're feeling all the feelings.
I send these songs around to my family (I do birthday songs!) and close friends, and if there's wine around and a guitar, I will inevitably find myself asking to play. So, to all of you who listen already (Hi mom!) and to those of you halfway across the country (hi Matt!), I've finally put some of them in a place that isn't just emails with voice memos, now it's voice memos uploaded on Soundcloud! Wohoo!
Have a listen, enjoy, and if you'd like a song written for/about you with the same four chords used in every pop song, I'm always excited to write below-average songs.
P.S The title implies that I'm dropping something. I am. I'm dropping an album (click the photo above to listen).
