3 Things You Learn the Summer After Your Freshman Year
August 19, 2014
1. Home is an oasis. The food is plentiful, the bed has clean sheets, and the power will never run out (unless you happen to be in Toronto during an ice storm. Which I was.)
2. The city is yours. After spending a year away from your hometown, your it becomes your homebase. Everything seems so familiar because you spent a year away from all of it, and it's nice to come back to a place you know.
3. There will always be people who love you. No matter the miles or the time, your family still cares about you.
These are the 3 things that I learned in my 4 months home from school, and now I'm off to go learn more in the academic world. In lieu of all these new things, I thought I'd bring something up that's a little older: the trailer to a film I worked on in my first year that's just been released. Learn more about the film here.
