The Ed Wood Film Festival

February 24, 2014

Phew!

We've just wrapped another film for the Ed Wood Film Festival here at USC, and I can't wait until it comes out! The screenings will be on Friday (the 28th), and I'll post the link to all the films here.

Last week I did a table read for some screenwriters here, and got the opportunity to do some acting with my good friend Andio Manguray. After that, I went to a few auditions and went to see the spring reperatory by the MFA actors. Both Our Town and Trojan Women were amazing! The acting in these pieces was incredible. Trojan Women is actually an original piece based on the play by Euripides and I was able to speak with one of the actors afterwards, Jamie Cline on his experience as an MFA actor doing three plays at once. It was an enlightening experience.

Be sure to keep an eye out for the Ed Wood films!

Cheers,

Alison
