Alison Chang was born in Hong Kong and grew up in Toronto, Canada before moving to Los Angeles, then to Vancouver. She studied at Havergal College, then the University of Southern California.

She began acting in every spring musical in elementary school, with hits like Schoolhouse Rock Jr. and Three of a Kind. From there, she spread her wings as Greylang in Honk! Jr, and continued acting in plays and musicals throughout high school. She became the first arts prefect at Havergal College, which is a continuing legacy today.

In 2013, she was accepted into the University of Southern California's theatre program, and pursued a theatre degree with a double minor in film and business. She began acting in student films, including the award-winning short Chlorine, made for the DKA 24 hour film festival. The next year, she was cast as a lead in a School of Dramatic Arts Play called The Waiting Room as a 48-year old woman with bound feet. In her last year, she starred in This Our Now, a show for Brand New Theatre (which also played at the LA fringe festival) written by the award-winning playwright, Olivia Cordell. After graduating, Alison began hosting Celebrathon Movie News for Digital Content Group, which circulated on Youtube and Reliance Media. She has continued to build up steady film and tv credits, with everyone from Awesomeness TV to Buzzfeed to Fox. You can see Alison on Season 2 of the award-winning webseries, Gal Pals as Maddie!

She currently resides in Vancouver and is represented by Monica Raynolds at Prestige Talent.
